Only God can help you get a good name, not your lifestyle. The corruption that happened to man in the Garden of Eden, way back in Genesis 3, has had such an effect on the character of man that no human strategy can be used to correct it. That’s why Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost, and that includes people’s salvation and transformation.
Maybe you’re hot-tempered because of the way you got raised from home. But I tell you that God has the keys to transform you wholly. He’ll give you beauty for ashes. Enable patience to calm quarrels, and you’ll live a peaceful life.
If you want to see God’s abundance in your life, let grace empower you to work. You’re limited in your human strength to fulfil God’s call upon your life. So God is responsible for supplying the grace and anointing to go the extra mile, just as He gave it to Paul (1 Corinthians 15:9-10).
Do you recognise your Maker in all your ways? Maybe you’re used to enjoying everyday life and fulfilling multiple responsibilities without recognising the God who gave you all the grace to do what you’re doing. It’s time to repent.
To every parent out there reading this, be it spiritual or biological, be thus reminded that there is hope in disciplining your children. They may behave in obscene ways today, but your consistent correction in God’s ways will form God’s Word in them. Don’t give up!
Beyond the harshness of obeying God’s covenant, there’s a joy because of the everlasting joy God supplies when you obey His ways. Don’t lose hope in the Lord. He is true to His Word. Trust in Him.
In Psalm 25:9, David says God guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. So to receive and submit to God’s guidance, you must possess humility.
Intensify your labour to draw near to God (James 4:8). He desires you to come around every time because to witness Jesus better in your location, you must know Him intimately.
You’ve got to be intentional about doing everything in honour of your Maker and never to be the sower of discord seeds amongst the children of God.
Be wise to build security around your life, especially as a minister of Christ. Make sure you have at least seven people in your life who have the liberty and boldness to correct you when you’re wrong without you feeling awful about their talk. It’s for your own safety so that you’ll have enough guidance to finish your race of faith well.
Psalm 103:17 tells us that the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him. And that love is from everlasting to everlasting. That implies it’ll never end. So though people die and get forgotten by people, God’s love will continue to benefit those who revere Him in all their ways.
If you’re working, make giving a part of your budget every month, especially your tithe and Sunday offerings. Don’t use forgetfulness as an excuse because you’ve been told in scripture to plan it (1 Corinthians 16:2).
