Your life is not a football to get tossed to and fro by the suggestions and directions of men, of which several of them live confused. Seek to know God’s will and follow suit. It will help you.
If God did it for someone else, go to that same God to do it for you instead of envying the person.
Obey your spiritual leader. Honour him very well. But don’t come to church or serve in the ministry because of him, otherwise, that would be an eyeservice and that is not pleasing before God. Remember to seek Jesus in all that you do.
Leaders usually do in secret what people see in public. So when others desire to follow them, they are oblivious to the fact that their excellence in what they do is a product of the consistent practice of what they do behind the scenes. If you want to lead your generation by example, teach them to do what you do instead of making them admire you.
Living with the future in mind or knowing what is yet to happen in your life or on Earth is not merely for prophets. It is for every believer.
Since you’re God’s child as a believer, regardless of your rank in the Spirit, you are still subject to His disciplinary actions if He has to do it to you to straighten your life.
Every person who’s plunged deep in sin doesn’t have any guarantee of a bright future if he continues in sin. That is why repentance and salvation is so significant. Why? Because the two don’t only guarantee you heaven but also bring you closer to God, receive His direction and start walking in His ways.
Don’t lose your hope in God, even if life seems tough for you. Learn to follow Him because He won’t fail you.
If you’re intimate with the Lord but don’t have much wealth, your life is better before Him than many wicked but rich people. Do you know why? Because every wicked but rich person usually earns money in dishonest ways, and such wealth will diminish with time (see Proverbs 10:2).
God doesn’t bless thieves. If you borrow someone’s thing and don’t send it back, you’re wicked (see Psalm 37:21). Stop destroying relationships with people with this evil behaviour.
God knows the end from the beginning. If He tells you to rest and to wait patiently for Him, He is trying to save you from encountering trouble you could have avoided. Never think you’re wiser than God. Stay humble and live being guided by His direction.
If you’re meek, there is an assurance in the Word that you shall inherit the land. It doesn’t mean you will become a real estate entrepreneur. Instead, it means your name will refuse to die because God will cause your works to outlive your existence.
