Wait Patiently for the Lord

God knows the end from the beginning. If He tells you to rest and to wait patiently for Him, He is trying to save you from encountering trouble you could have avoided. Never think you’re wiser than God. Stay humble and live being guided by His direction.

The Meek Will Inherit the Land

If you’re meek, there is an assurance in the Word that you shall inherit the land. It doesn’t mean you will become a real estate entrepreneur. Instead, it means your name will refuse to die because God will cause your works to outlive your existence.

Do Not Be Overawed When Others Grow Rich

In Psalm 49:16, the Psalmist cautions that you should not be overawed when others grow rich. In other words, don’t let it become jawbreaking news when you see someone you know become wealthy. But why? Because of you don’t know how he got that wealth, whether legitimately or illegitimately and that person won’t carry over that wealth to the grave.

Salvation for Confused People

Jesus is the solution for all manner of confusion. He said in John 10:27 that His sheep hear His voice and that He knows them, and they follow Him. So, in short, Jesus is salvation for confused people. When you become His sheep and you spend time building intimacy with Him, you will know His voice clearly without doubts.

Love Does Not Keep Record of Wrongs

The Bible says clearly in 1 Corinthians 13:5 that love keeps no record of wrongs. When you read the New King James Version of that part of the scripture, it uses “think no evil” in place of “keeps no record of wrongs.” What does that mean? It implies that when you keep remembering the offences your offenders do to you, the spirit of vengeance will keep bombarding your mind with evil things to do to pay back evil to your offenders. Think about that for a moment!

Ministry Is Hard Work

Dear man of God, God’s call to ministry may have turned your life around in ways you never imagined. Maybe you’re going through financial struggles you never thought you would. Take heart, for God knows your plight. When you get tempted to give up in ministry, remember Jesus’ promise in Matthew 19:29. You will have more than enough. Just keep being faithful to God in all your ways.
