You can have as many acquaintances as possible on this earth because you’ll never know when you’ll need any of them. However, don’t just invite anybody into your close friends’ circle. Screen such friendships by studying the person over time. And as the attitude unfolds, you can make an informed decision.
Artificial contraception, in itself, is neither good nor bad. But who uses it and the motive for using it will judge. When the unmarried uses it, it is totally wrong and sinful because it will foster fornication. But for married couples, they can use it for effective family planning.
Despise not who you meet for the first time wherever you go. God can do wonders through the strangers you meet. However, be discerning, lest you entertain an evil companion in your life.
Start filtering the kind of people you’ve allowed in your circle. Distance yourself from evil people and insist on living to please God regardless of what people say against your godly lifestyle.
Protect your relationship with Jesus from all forms of filth. For you are married to Him. And that means whatever you share with Him in secrecy must be guarded with all diligence.
God hasn’t ordained you to win quarrels, but to impact lives. Live in this consciousness.
When you love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, you are showing Him that He is the most important thing in your life. You also set yourself up for a life of peace, joy, and fulfilment.
Pay the price to be around for church despite the circumstances. That’s the only way you’ll not be different from the brethren in Christ overtime.
Just as a husband and a wife give their bodies to each other, you’re married to Jesus because you’re part of His bride – the Church. So you’re obligated, by the empowerment of the Spirit, to give yourself wholly to God.
Not everybody is a judge by profession. But each day, there are cases that must be addressed, some spiritually by prayer, others at home and in workplaces. Without wisdom and patience, one can make wrong conclusions about issues and end up hurting hearts.
Enough of self-consumption. Learn both to receive God’s love and give to others also. Esteem others better than you. In that way, you’ll value them and focus less on their weaknesses.
In Matthew 7:12, Jesus says what I call the golden rule in scripture, which says, “… in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you…”. That means, you ought to be reciprocated in your demands of people’s treatment.
