Calling a believer a Christian isn’t wrong. However, the Antiochenes, who called believers this name, saw them live in the ways of God. It takes salvation to become a believer, but maturity to live like Jesus. Pursue a deeper intimacy with God, walk in love and never allow what people call you to override who God says you are in your mind.
An heir, according to the scriptures in Galatians 4:7, refers to a person who has acquired or obtained the portion allotted to him. So, in essence, if you’re an heir of God through Christ, then it means you have access to everything the Father has through Jesus.
Don’t underwork yourself. In other words, don’t settle for less just because what’s in your hands to do right now is little. Invest in yourself. Pay the price to acquire more divine knowledge, even if your level is insignificant today. So that when it’s God’s due time to lift you, you’ll not be bankrupt of wisdom to sustain you at that level.
Dear minister, serve with God’s strength, which He supplies, not yours. Stop depending on your human strategies to do what He has called you to do. Depend on Him.
You’re God’s fearfully and wonderfully made creature created in Christ Jesus for good works. That means good works is a natural flow in your life as a believer. And if such a thing is not happening, then there’s something wrong with you. Confront that in prayer.
Instead of signing up for this normal lifestyle people are used to, why don’t you go to the Lord for wisdom and let Him improve the quality of your life drastically?
As a believer, you must be wise not to number yourself among those who settle for less in life.
God didn’t bring you here on Earth only to survive. In other words, He didn’t bring you here just to get what you need to live. No! He called you to be a blessing unto generations. Think like that and let it permeate your thinking patterns.
Your focus on Christ is key to making your path shine brighter each day of your faith journey till the end.
If you follow Earthly ways to live, which many have followed, it won’t end well with you because you’ll be investing in your flesh so much, which profits nothing, according to Jesus (see John 6:63). However, when you follow the ways of God, your life will move on from glory to glory.
