[2] “Then the LORD answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.” – Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV)
I love technology because that is my significant work field. But there is one bad thing I’ve seen people, especially some believers, do with technology that is making them subtly disobey God’s Word in Habakkuk 2:2. They like typing instead of writing. So the average young person hates using paper in their lives. Now, I don’t condemn anybody who is into this lifestyle. In fact, who am I to condemn people? But did you know that physically writing things down, especially what God tells you and putting them in a place where you can see constantly is key to reminding you of God’s promises?
Imagine God told you that He would lift you in the world of business. But now, you’re a solopreneur. If you write God’s promise to you down, laminate it and hang it in your room, seeing it every day will always remind you to pray about it. Meanwhile, if you type it on your phone, you will easily forget it. In 1st Timothy 1:18 (NKJV), Paul said to Pastor Timothy that,
[18] “This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,”
That means that you must wage good warfare concerning every prophecy upon your life if you want to see it fulfilled. Prophecies don’t die, but without waging warfare on them, they’ll remain dormant. That is why your vision is worth writing down. Why? So that you can see it and run with it.
Usually, your life will move towards your vision when you’re constantly aware of it. Press on, and don’t give up!
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for blessing lives with vision. For every believer carrying Your vision, help them to wage good warfare on them in prayer and purposeful work so that they will live to see its manifestation. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
