Probably you’ve encountered several disappointments, unfortunate circumstances, misunderstandings from the communications of people and lack of adequate support, so much so that you’re brokenhearted. That could have also led to you not trusting anybody or believing everyone is wicked. I want to tell you that God is near you, whether you see Him or not, whether you sense His presence or not. Learn how to find comfort in God’s presence today.
Let’s stop complaining to God about why He’s not changing every situation in our lives instantly. He wants us to experience growth through trials. For trials bring discomfort, and staying in your comfort zone doesn’t help you. Discern the speakings of God in your situation today.
Distress usually happens when a person goes through a very tough situation in life. It is totally unpreventable because nobody is exempted from facing life issues. However, what we do during those moments is very crucial. Turn to God!
Just as evil thoughts don’t emanate from God, it’s God’s Word we must use to overcome them. How? By casting down all imaginations and any thought against the knowledge of God.
How you run into a problem isn’t as important as how you respond to it. If you let your mind worry about it, you’ll waste precious time thinking about the effect of your ordeal, and you cannot bring the lost time back. But if you declare God’s Word over it and learn from your mistakes, you shall rise stronger.
No child of God is shielded from facing life issues. The Bible says in James 1:2 “…when (not ‘if’) you fall into trials.” However, how you respond to matters. Count it all joy. See joy in the happening of problems because they have a purpose, which is to test your faith.
If you asked God for strength, then He allowing you to face life challenges to come out victoriously on each occasion is the only way to prove to you that He has answered your prayers. It’s not God’s will to make you suffer afflictions. However, He uses them to empower you by giving you victory. Lean on God.
Discomfort doesn’t mean God is telling you to move away. Discern what He’s doing in each season in your life, and don’t let circumstances determine your countenance.
With everything God creates or allows to happen in our lives, there’s a purpose. You may not know it, but it doesn’t mean it’s non-existent. God allows us fall into various trials in life for a purpose. Discover it today.
Abandoning the gathering of the brethren because of offences never guarantees you a better life in the world. In fact, doing that will end you in more chaos than you ever think. Remain in Christ despite life crises because your life is anchored in God.
