Child of God, understand that life is in seasons. You don’t have to lust after the possessions of others just because they are lovely. Nobody’s life is as good as one presents it for others to see, especially on social media.
Your flesh had been crucified when you came into Christ (Galatians 5:24). Demolish every thought that the devil suggests in your mind to use your body to do something evil while being conscious of glorifying God in all your doings.
As a child of God, you only need to focus on following and knowing Jesus. That’s it. You’ll see that He’ll give you all the satisfaction your soul craves and all the provision you need to live a fulfilled life of purpose.
The man who endures temptation will receive a crown of life ( zōē – eternal life) promised to be given by God to those who love Him. Choose to hold on firmly to the Word you’ve believed whenever you face challenges in life.
Before you say something, vet the thought that comes into your mind about it. Is it godly? Will it end up ministering grace to the other person or slander him? If you are careful to do this, you’ll keep your soul from troubles that emerge because of poor word choices.
We’re in the last days, and people betray others so much for their personal benefits. But it doesn’t matter what the masses do. The question is, “are you trustworthy?” Can you keep secrets shared by a close friend to you without letting even another close friend hear about it?
How you run into a problem isn’t as important as how you respond to it. If you let your mind worry about it, you’ll waste precious time thinking about the effect of your ordeal, and you cannot bring the lost time back. But if you declare God’s Word over it and learn from your mistakes, you shall rise stronger.
Steward your own body in a godly manner because it’s God’s, not yours. Live unto God, and don’t let anyone pressure you to do ungodly things with your body.
The flesh (sin nature) has been rendered powerless in your life. But you have to live under the Spirit’s empowerment to overcome every evil desire the devil introduces in your mind.
If you’ll always be mindful of the Lord’s presence, your mind will be preoccupied with spiritual things. In that way, you’ll give no opportunity to the devil to sow condemning thoughts in your mind.
Choose forgiveness rather than resentment. Choose to give soft answers to angry people rather than proving yourself right at all times. As a child of God, you’re a peacemaker. You don’t always need to be right to ensure you live in peace with everybody.
