The Light of (Eternal) Life
If you’re born again, you have eternal life. But you need the light of this life to live it to the full. That light is received when you follow Jesus.
Know the Truth
If God wants you to abide in His Word and know the truth, then He expects you to set aside your time for Him.
Hide Yourself from Being Hurt
Sometimes, God will show you how to handle the snares of your enemies. Other times, you have to hide yourself from being hurt by them.
Don’t Seek Your Own Glory
God didn’t enlist any earthly possession as part of your identity in Him.
Missional Response to Work Demands
Not all demands require your immediate attention and response. Analyse them and respond to the important ones and those that’ll fulfil your calling in Christ.
Reconciliation — God’s Way of Drawing All Men to Himself
God doesn’t need to reconcile the world to Himself. He has already done that through Jesus. We must (and also tell others) be reconciled back to God.
Getting People’s Attention to Listen to God’s Word
Evangelism will be much more effective when the strategies used to present the gospel are Spirit-led and attention-grabbing.
Spiritual Food
There are two main kinds of spiritual food according to the Bible: the Word of God and the doing of the will of God (John 6:27).
Are You Sent of God?
Anyone sent of God speaks the words of God, which are full of Spirit and eternal life. God has provided His servants with everything they need to be consistent life-givers through the His Word.
Jesus Must Be Greater
When you recognise that all that you are and have is God’s, you’ll not forget to put God first in all things.
Know Who You Are
You’re not who people say you are. You’re who God says you are. Look into God’s Word to find who you are and why you were born.
You Are Unpredictable
If you’re born again, you’re born of the Spirit. And as a result of that, your life is unpredictable by natural people or scientific statistics.
