And when you pass through the rivers, meaning hefty issues that have killed people, those situations won’t override His presence of peace in your life. And in the fire too, you shall not be burned. All these means that God will always be with you, even in the most difficult situations.

Watch out (observe) those who cause divisions and preach doctrines against the truth about Jesus you’ve received. If you have to unfollow them online, do so. If you have to stop listening to their sermons, do it. The goal is to help you stay in the faith without confusion.

To those who struggle with drinking, whenever the devil tempts you to drink, tell him that God is bigger than that bottle of beer.
