Nobody Can Search Your Heart

[3] “As the heavens are high and the earth is deep, so the hearts of kings are unsearchable.” – Proverbs 25:3 (NIV)

If something gets lost in your room, what do you do, especially when you know you need it? You search for it. Right? But what if you can’t find that thing after searching for it for hours? Either give up the search because of time wastage or find an alternative.

Now Solomon says in Proverbs 25:3 that the hearts of kings are unsearchable. The translated word “heart” in that verse means inner man or memory. That means for kings, nobody can examine their deep-minded intentions. Solomon was a king, so he understood what he was saying to the very detail. However, how does it apply to us as children of God?

Revelation 1:6 (NKJV) says,

“and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

As a believer, male or female, you are a king in Christ, not a queen (for the ladies). Therefore, nobody can search your heart. That further means that no one can find out God’s prophetic decrees in your life. No one means nobody, including that fetish priest or witch. That is why you must guard what you say to people about your future. Why? Because the enemy doesn’t know what you think unless you say it. Imagine if Joseph had kept his two dreams in his heart without telling it to his brothers! He would not have had haters from his own family. But God knew what He was doing.

Be wise and keep secrets of God’s prophetic decrees within your heart from the wrong people. Communicate it with only your spouse, faithful brethren and your team as you live it out step by step. The Lord is with you, and He will not watch you bow your head in shame.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, help me to guard the deep things You’ve shown me about my destiny in my heart from evil people. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
