[3] “As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable.” – Proverbs 25:3 (NKJV)
Kings, presidents and high-ranking executives of corporations are people who think deeply about a lot of things. The depth of things in their hearts is so deep that it is hard to read their thoughts unless you carefully consider their words and ways of doing things. That is why the Bible says that the heart of kings is unsearchable. Even though this is a general principle in leadership, this is the Bible. So, it applies more to Christians in leadership, not just anybody. But I want you to take note of the words “heart” and “kings” in today’s devotional anchor text.
If I passed Proverbs 25:3 to a grammar correction AI tool like Grammarly, it’d flag any of these two words as grammatically incorrect. But scripture isn’t subject to grammatical errors. The Bible doesn’t say the hearts of kings are unsearchable. Instead, “… the heart of kings is unsearchable.” That means all kings have one heart. Believers are kings in Christ (see Revelation 5:5). So we have the heart of Christ in us. And as such, what God has stored in our hearts for us to showcase His glory in the world cannot be searched out. No wonder the scripture says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV) that,
“But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Dear friend, know that what God has said about your life cannot be searched out by anybody in this world. That fetish priest cannot find it out. The voodoo man can’t. It is only known by God. But you must keep it to yourself and expose the visions God gives you to the right people to help bring it out to manifestation. May the Lord keep you.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, help me to have a good heart that seeks to do Your will always. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
