Expose the Vision to Your Team Consistently

[34] “He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.” — Mark 4:34 NIV

I have always wondered why Jesus spoke to people in parables and explained each to His twelve disciples alone. However, serving in our ministry as a leader over time, I understood what Jesus did very well.

Dear leader, the people you work with must understand what you’re building upon as God shows you. You must expose the vision to your team consistently, not to the general public. That will make your team believe in God and in you too. Those who come and enjoy what you give may leave anytime. But it’s those who’re with you that will stay for long.

An outsider of your organisation can make remarks. But you don’t have to explain yourself to him. However, it’s always good to answer every question your team member asks. Why? Because it’s essential in giving security and assurance of his stay in the organisation for long.

Learn to be loyal, loving, caring and faithful to your team members. Followers can turn against you anytime. But it’s your team that’ll carry on God’s mandate you started when you’re not around physically. That is what Jesus did. He built people. And today, the church is thriving. Learn this wisdom and value people, friend!

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for elaborating on leadership in Your Word. Help me to build and commit Your message to faithful ministers, who’ll build upon Your vision for the ministry. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
