Make God the primary inspiration of your work, not your salary, wage or compensation.
There’s a sure inheritance for God’s servants including you, regardless of the vocation wherewith you’re called. That inheritance is in two folds – the Earthly ones and the heavenly ones.
Always recognise that it’s not about you but God working in you to produce everything you see in your life. God is your Father. He’s your Source and sustainer. He provides the strength to do everything according to His purpose, including the desires that inspire such acts.
Had it not been for Peter’s partners, he would have sunk into the sea even though he encountered a miracle, even though Jesus may have prevented that from happening. And because of the importance of this in our lives, pursuing peace with all people is needful.
God has given you the grace to run with every vision He gives you. But will you take advantage of it?
Your divine assignment will take time to get fulfilled in the Lord. And sometimes, you’ll not have enough resources to do everything God puts in your mind to accomplish. That is why it’s significant to write the vision, you can remember it and live by it.
Jesus never gave the disciples a method, strategy or medium to spread the gospel. He just told them to go and make disciples of all nations. That means that for them, and now to us to reach the ends of the world, we have been given the liberty to be creative and innovative.
If you want to see God’s abundance in your life, let grace empower you to work. You’re limited in your human strength to fulfil God’s call upon your life. So God is responsible for supplying the grace and anointing to go the extra mile, just as He gave it to Paul (1 Corinthians 15:9-10).
God may have shown you glimpses of your future, how bright it is or will be. But when you compare where you are today and the beautiful imagination about your life in mind, you just cannot trace your path there. Let me encourage you: it is worth the wait. Grow through the process.
Your works contributing to your divine purpose fulfilment follow you even after you’re physically dead. Knowing this very well, why won’t you focus on doing God’s work diligently without grumbling today?
Build security around your life by being accountable to other responsible ministers of God in your life. So that when such people correct you for doing something wrong, you’ll not drift away from the truth. Do what God has told you to do because you’ll give account to Him (Romans 14:12).
