Discharge All the Duties of Your Ministry
As a minister of the gospel, don’t entertain procrastination in your workflow any day of your life. Discharge the duties of your ministry, whether people applaud you for what you do or not.

Don’t bend God’s principles to suit your way of life. You’ll be your own devil if you do that.
In Psalm 100:2, we’re charged as Christians to serve the Lord with gladness. The word “gladness” comes from the Hebrew word “śimchâh,” which means “joy.” You are supposed to serve the Lord with joy in your heart always. So whatever you do which has been dedicated unto God, do it with joy in your heart by the empowerment of grace.
Ministry isn’t all about serving in the church. It’s all about dedicating what you’re doing unto God, whether in church or not.
You only defeat laziness by working consistently. Even if you have everything you need in life, don’t stop working no matter what. Work is not a curse. You’re to enjoy it and not hate it.
God is very progressive. There’s more He wants to accomplish daily on this earth. But according to Psalm 116:15, God has given the Earth to the children of men. So He needs people to advance His kingdom on Earth. It’s your duty to remain faithful to your calling in the Lord.
“Occupy Till Jesus comes.” Pretty simple statement from the Bible (Luke 19:13); right? What did Jesus meant when He said that. He was affirming that instead of we focusing on His second coming, we should be involved in using the gifts He has entrusted us to serve one another. Fulfilling purpose is a primary priority in Christ.
Nothing sustains itself. It’s divine wisdom that upholds all things. Talk about marriage, ministry, money, et cetera. You must understand how things work. It’s not just about getting that idea on paper. It is about knowing how to work it out to see it become sustained for long.
Imagine if Apostle Paul joked with his life, refused to submit to God and never wrote any of his letters we use today. Billions of people would have missed benefiting from his ministry. Neglecting divine vision or failing to supply diligence to your calling results in vice versa of Paul’s impact today. Think about this.
To maximise impact through teamwork, follow Jesus’s principle in Mark 3:14. He called the disciples first to be with Him, and later send them out. You have to train your team by teaching the ways of God consistently, make them understand God’s vision for your organisation before handling tasks to them.
God made the world and saw that everything He has done was good. But He still created and appointed man to have dominion over His creation.
Although what God created wasn’t problematic, He needed man to manage and supervise the growth of the work done. Today, it’s like building an organisation and hiring others to manage your systems for you. It’s not new; it’s a principle of scripture.
One of my favourite Bible verses is Proverbs 24:27. In that verse, Solomon teaches that you should put your outdoor work together before building a house. In other words, he was saying, “Ensure your work and vision are well established before building a home.”
