Show Mercy to People with Cheerfulness

According to Romans 12:8, some people have that divine gift to show mercy to people with cheerfulness in their hearts, Wow! That’s interesting. Usually, when it comes to showing mercy to someone, it’s about making the person go scot-free for his wrong actions. People who do that usually do it out of sympathy, not cheerfulness. But the Bible says you can have that gift.

The Lord as a Judge Over Sin

When God tells you to turn away from sin, He just wants to protect you. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Almighty God (see Hebrews 10:31). Live clean before the Lord, whether people are watching you or not. It is for your own good.

Whoever Obeys My Word Will Not See Death

Jesus said in John 8:51 that “… whoever obeys my Word will never see death.” That means that even when we are in Christ and do not obey God’s Word, we are prone to face consistent hardship in life, and unfortunately, many believers are living like this. They are in Christ but disregard the authority of His Word over their lives. As followers of Christ, we must rely solely on His Word always. We ought to treasure it and carve it on our hearts.

There Will Be No Future for the Wicked

Every person who’s plunged deep in sin doesn’t have any guarantee of a bright future if he continues in sin. That is why repentance and salvation is so significant. Why? Because the two don’t only guarantee you heaven but also bring you closer to God, receive His direction and start walking in His ways.

Stand in Judgment, Child of God

The insight God has given you to judge situations righteously can only be put to use when you speak. Refuse to let worldly opinions override what God has told you in your mind. If God never fails, His Word will never fail too. Stay faithful to Him.

Are You Judging Others Unconsciously?

It’s easy to find faults and mistakes in others’ lives, but it’s much harder to see our own wrongdoings. As Christians, we are called to love our neighbours and to live a humble life that will make people see Christ in us. That includes avoiding judgment and condemnation of others.

Depart from Iniquity

We live in a world that lies in wickedness (1 John 5:19 KJV). And that means situations that’ll trigger compromise of God’s standards in us will come in multiple folds. That’s why we must take a firm stance. Decide that “If what I’m doing exalts God, I’ll do it with all my heart. And if not, I’ll resist it with all the strength of Christ in me.”
