What God thinks and says about you is much more essential than what people say about you. If you made a mistake in the past, it doesn’t mean you are forever flawed. People may not forget your past, but if God has forgiven you, forgive yourself and move on.
Everyone wants progress, and many don’t like encountering delays in getting something they want. But what if I told you that it takes godly wisdom to manage your expectations?
You need more inner strength than you think to withstand evil days. If you have that, you’ll be able to go through terrible issues people face without breaking down as people do.
There is no issue in this world you’ll face without it having a solution before God. He may not solve it at the time you desire, but wait patiently for the Lord. He will not fail you.
Fret not about your life, thinking your issues will be the same as you see them today. No! It won’t. Things will change over time. In some situations, you must take action intentionally; otherwise, they will remain. For others, God will step in at the right time for you, and such situations don’t just pass away, no matter how much you pray or how much effort you put into changing it. Live joyfully, being conscious of His presence in your life. It is well with you!
Like Joseph, who endured suffering before he was divinely exalted, those who remain steadfast will see God’s faithfulness. Lean on His grace, for it is sufficient. In the end, the sweet aftertaste of enduring love far outweighs the bitterness of temporary struggles. Keep loving Jesus; your perseverance will not go unrewarded.
Did you know that Jesus doesn’t measure your offering first by the size you give? Yes, He checks your heart first, not the size. But is giving vast amounts of money good? Of course, it is because it helps run several ministries. I have been a minister for over eight years (at the time of this writing), and I can’t overemphasise how important finance is in ministry.
When you trust something or somebody to do something for you, and things mess up, that is when your patience will be subjected to a test. Why? Because things may not go as fast as you want them to, and you’ll be forced to go and pray as you wear the cloak of endurance.
Can I give you some advice, dear Christian? Balance your plan with your trust in God. Don’t forget to plan, but remember that when God will fulfil those beautiful things you have planned, it will likely not follow your intended schedule. Only don’t give up. He will not put you to shame.
God, unlike humans, can be trusted. He is not a God who says one thing and does the other. What He says is what He does, and what He does is what He has said.
You don’t have to give your children everything the ask for, especially if they see that you have lots of money. If you do that, you’ll grow a spirit of selfishness and greed in them, and they will likely not have enough wisdom to manage everything you provide for them.
The way God takes you through life will probably not be how you expect it. Your journey may take longer than you expect it. But in the midst of all these troubles, don’t let go of your trust in Him.
