[3] “He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” – Psalms 23:3 (NKJV)
We live in a world where many people struggle with mental challenges. For some people, financial constraints are what worry them. For others, it is the issues of life and other things they are waiting for that make them feel like they’ve been delayed. Whatever the case may be for you, I want to tell you that God will restore your troubled soul.
Jesus never promised us a problem-free life. In fact, He said in John 16:33 that we (His disciples) will face tribulation in this world. That statement Jesus said has no exceptions to it. So, as a Christian, whether a rich, poor or middle-class income-earning person, pastor or congregant, lay minister or full-time preacher, married or single (and more categorisations you want to add), there will be problems. Some of them will be about financial constraints. Others will be about several things you may not expect to happen to you.
However, how you respond to such situations is crucial. If you weep so much about the issue, that won’t solve it. But when you find comfort in God and ask for His direction in approaching the solution, that is what will make the difference. You are allowed to weep when you face a challenge, but don’t let it get you so much that you don’t rise and take action.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, help me be strong in life despite all the challenges I face. I know that You will never leave or forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
