[17] “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” – Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)
It is one thing to be alive and another to live completely healthy. In years of great health, how pleasurable it feels to live worry-free without spending a dime on medicines and hospitals. But unfortunately, many people aren’t healthy. I am amazed at how people flood hospitals each day with genuine sicknesses, even chronic ones, especially in Africa. If it is God’s will for every believer to be in good health (see 3 John 2), then what is missing?
Health is a divine blessing, and it must be guarded. But just in case you didn’t know this, probably due to a lack of conviction about God’s promises or being an unbeliever all your life, there is healing for you in Christ. God will restore health unto you, but you must be born again, take good care of your body and live with full conviction in God’s healing promises.
Have you battled sickness all your life, thinking it will never end? Get rid of that “permanently ill” mindset you have, and start believing in God for healing right now. Like the woman who suffered from a haemorrhage for years, be determined to get your health back in Jesus. Keep praying!
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for health. To anyone suffering from sickness right now, heal them, oh God. Restore health unto them. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
