Palm Sunday – Its Significance to the Child of God
Palm Sunday comes off every Sunday before Easter Sunday in the Christian calendar. And if it has tarried to date, then it must be significant in God’s calendar for all believers to celebrate it.

God hasn’t told us to worry about how He will fund those things He has said about our lives. And the beautiful thing about this is that He, God, can make evil people fund His prophecies.
Don’t let the devil deceive you. Every word of prophecy God has released upon your life will be fulfilled. But be careful. You don’t determine the time God will fulfil it. Your work is to believe in Him and labour consistently in prayers for that Word to be fulfilled.
After the angel Gabriel gave Mary the news that Jesus would be born through her and used Elisabeth’s case of giving birth in old age, she decided to go and stay with the old lady. Mary’s decision to go and stay with Elisabeth implies that it is prudent to hang around people who are pregnant with God’s promises.

To the young believer who keeps investing in knowing God more intimately day by day, you shall bear fruit in your old age. You shall flourish in the courts of God. You shall come up with innovations that make God known in this evil generation in the name of Jesus.
[9] “But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” — 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)
Mary never expected to receive a news from an Angel that Jesus would come through her. When it’s time to step into a new season of your prophetic destiny, strange things begin to happen. Remember that life is in seasons.
If Caesar had not issued that decree, Joseph wouldn’t have gone back to Bethlehem. And that would mean Jesus would have been born somewhere else. So I believe God made Caesar Augustus issue that decree, not himself. Things don’t just happen.
Between the time God speaks about the fulfilment of something and the time it gets fully manifested, there’s always a gap. And that is where patience and trust get highly tested.
God loves everybody, but only those who love Him qualify to enjoy more privileges from Him.
