[2] “Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;

And strengthen your stakes.

And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.” – Isaiah 54:2-3 (NKJV)
I was reading one of the books about purpose by the late Dr Myles Munroe, and he elaborated on the power of the mind. I don’t remember what he said exactly in that part of the book, but at the end of that day, I came to understand that nobody can live beyond his thinking capacity. The child in the village’s dream of who he wants to be in future cannot be like that of the one who lives in a city. Why? Because each child has differences in exposure.
The mind, although limited, is very powerful. Every building, institution, ministry or business you see today started as a seed in a person’s mind. That founder nurtured and developed it little by little until it grew so big, especially in big tech companies. But I want you to know that God didn’t give this gift to worldly people, but first to believers. So it’s devastating to see unbelievers owing big companies around the world. Why? Because owners of such people are subject to demonic influence and can make decisions that will affect all forms of people, especially believers. Today, many pastors complain of their content being removed online due to censorship because unbelievers are in charge of those systems. Hmm!
The Lord commands us to enlarge our thinking capacity in Isaiah 54:2. He knows that for us to have dominion over the Earth as He commanded us in Genesis 1:28, having expansive thinking is a great necessity. That family, house, business, ministry or institution you’re building is at the mercy of how far you can think. Can you pray for God to expand your thinking by giving you fresh ideas and exposing you to great things?
Don’t settle for less while God has called you to do great things. He is with you, so shine on!

Father, thank You for giving me a mind that is of Christ. Enlarge my thinking capacity such that I’ll behold the great things You’ve planned for me to do by the Spirit of Grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
