Speak God’s Truth by Divine Authority

[28] “And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, [29] for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” – Matthew 7:28-29 (NKJV)

Jesus was (and still is) powerful – fully God and man. During His time on earth, the Bible says He taught as one having authority, and not like the scribes. Think about that! That means the scribes had a lot of knowledge, yet they didn’t teach to impact the people of God but to feed their minds with their traditional interpretation of the law they studied—no wonder the people of Israel were still not transformed. Today, I’m glad to tell you that Jesus has come to change that narrative forever.

As a servant of God, divine authority is one of the significant spiritual necessities you need to have an impactful ministry. That authority is in you, dear one. But it needs to be ignited and constantly used by practising the presence of God through consistent fellowship with the Holy One. You cannot have an impactful ministry if you speak like a toddler before people, even if God has anointed you. No! You need divine authority to fuel your charisma to lead and teach God’s people entrusted in your hands. Don’t ever neglect what I’m telling you today.

Speak God’s truth by divine authority, not as a toddler. For God didn’t call you to be weak but to be strong. He is with you, particularly with your mouth. Timidity hasn’t sent anyone far in Christ. Why? Because it creates the fear of man, which is detrimental to proclaiming God’s Word to people fearlessly. May the Lord empower you to do His work.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your provision of divine authority in me. May I never fear any man who stands in my way of preaching Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
