“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8 NIV
Love is so powerful. It can inspire a man to do something good for another that he may never do to other people. However, it remains dormant until it’s expressed in the life of the one chosen to be loved.
John 3:16 NKJV says,
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 NKJV
God first chose to love an evil world filled with wickedness in the hearts of all manner of people. For this cause, He sent Christ to come and die for each one of us, while we were yet sinners.
Do you think you’re unworthy to receive the salvation of the Lord? Or has someone whispered to you that you don’t deserve God’s love? Can I tell you this; all of us, when Jesus came, was unworthy to even be loved by God or ministered to grace. Yet, God overlooks the sins and iniquities of all people to send Jesus. God didn’t need your permission to send His Son. He knew you need a Savior, and that’s why He has provided the only One for you.
Are you an unbeliever? Come to Christ and embrace His love. Are you a believer in Christ? Choose to express the love of God to people seen as unworthy in society. For Christ died for the unworthy like them too. I pray God gives you the grace to minister His goodness to people through your consistent good works in Christ.
You’re a blessing.
