Silence the Distractor

The devil used Peter’s compassion as a distraction to Jesus’ decision to lay down His life for all. But Jesus silenced Satan, calling Him by name. Know when to address issues by their root without blaming the people who got used to cause it.

Trust God for Provision

Just as the Apostles obeyed Jesus, went out to preach and came back rejoicing for the exploits God used them to wrought on the mission field, so you’ll return to God rejoicing each day for learning obedience through the things you have suffered (or suffering now).

God Will Keep You from Stumbling

You, living by the grace of God that teaches you to say no to ungodliness (Titus 2:12), have every right to be confident in the Lord that you’re standing. You must believe that God will keep you from stumbling because it’s true [Jude 1:24-25].

Be Holy in All You Do

God instructs us through Peter that we must be holy in all we do (1 Peter 1:14-16). But how? By refusing to conform to the evil desires we had when we didn’t know God. And checking our actions to ensure each one carries an element of godliness.
