The Bible says that even though God has made you holy, you have work to do to perfect it. That comes with the purification of yourself from everything that contaminates your body and spirit. But you may ask, what are some of these things?
The Bible implores believers not to be yoked together with unbelievers. In other words, unbelievers shouldn’t form part of our close relationships circle. And the moment this comes into the scene, it means that a believer should never think of marrying an unbeliever because married couples form part of the category of very close relationships. However, the scripture covers all other relationships too.
Don’t fret about your situation, for it is time to fix not your eyes on what is seen but on the eternal promises of God. That is what will position your spirit to help you embrace the difference.
If you have made up your mind to get encouragement and comfort from the world, I’m sad to tell you that you have signed up to experience many unfortunate things. This world is under the rulership of the devil (see 2 Corinthians 4:4). So, don’t look up unto it for help. Instead, come to Jesus, and pursue a deeper intimacy with Him. Let Him, who is in you as a believer, be the utmost source of your inspiration.
If you are going to get the maximum blessing you can ever get for giving in God’s house, you cannot give casually or sparingly. You must give bountifully with intentionality. Add offering to your budget every week. It’s a way God uses to teach you consistency. Become responsible for your finances, dear one.
What you need to believe in your heart, even before confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus, is Jesus’ resurrection. So, your salvation is contingent on this part of faith. Never let go of your belief in Jesus’ resurrection. Reject every argument that aims to debunk this claim because it is from the pit of hell trying to prevent people from getting saved.
God is wise. The spiritual gifts He has given His people are in the raw state, so everyone will have an equal opportunity to harness theirs. Excel in your spiritual gift by ministering it to one another.
God is not slack concerning His promise. He told Habakkuk that He was about to work in his days in a way that the prophet would not know if he was told. It’s the same for your life. God has more things to do for you but won’t reveal the complete details to you so you can have faith in Him. Don’t worry about your life, for the Lord has got you well covered.
If you are in a wilderness season in your life, where everything seems dry, He will help you come out of it. He will make you enjoy provision even while you are in the desert. You don’t have to fret about your life. Come on! Get up and stir your spirit in prayer. God will never leave nor forsake you. He has His best interests at heart for you.
When God tells you something, how do you handle it? Do you document it and put it in a place you won’t forget, or do you brush it aside? Many people disobey God because they simply forget what He told them to do. Don’t let that be your case. If you are someone who forgets things fast, write down God’s promise to you at a place you’ll remember.
The moment God announces favour upon you, do not think your life is going to be normal. It won’t and probably never be like that anymore. That is why you need endurance as a divine prophecy carrier because you will bear burdens from the Lord your entire life. Instead of crying to God about your situation, pray for the strength to bear them.
