Knowing God Devotional is an online daily devotional written by Andrews Baah Kwafo, the president of The Bible Daily Network.
Don’t stop giving just because there are many evils in society. Give, and you’ll receive more in return (Proverbs 11:24). However, discern to know why a poor person you’ve encountered needs your money before giving. By so doing, you’ll tell them about Jesus before they get your resources.
Test your actions. Allow the Spirit of God to help you identify life areas you need correction and transformation, and then pray for Him to take control. He can use others to notify you in those areas. Therefore, don’t neglect correction despite the discomfort it brings.
With whatever evil prevails in the world, God’s children have overcome them through faith in Jesus (1 John 5:4). But there’s a decision to make. Will we stand for Christ by living the victorious Christian life over evil or become adversely affected by societal evils?
How much exploits each one will do unto God’s kingdom is heavily dependent on how we spend what we receive from the Lord no matter wherever we find ourselves.
Life isn’t always about the ups. There are downs too. But when God is in your case, He will carry you through the downs and still grow you through those moments to come up again and again.
As you grow spiritually in Christ, your knowledge of God and Jesus, His sent one, will increase. You’ll start thinking like a king and a priest in Christ who’s entitled to enjoy the kingdom privileges.
Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s profitable to your hearing. Boycott wrong popular opinions that exalt lies and cover up the Truth
As a preacher, watch your doctrine closely because the lives of your audience are at the mercy of what you teach them. If doctrine is teachable, then it is contagious.
Do you want to possess your possessions? Get born again by accepting Jesus, submit to spiritual mentorship for your transformation, be an ardent follower of the Lord, and do His work.
If we’re constantly praying, then we’ll not have any issues dealing with anxiety because God’s peace will always be manifest in our lives.
Hebrews 13:8 is the perfect scripture that shows us the constancy of Jesus. It says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday (speaking of times past), today (the present), and forever (the future).
It’s your responsibility as a Christian to check the words you speak. You must ensure no corrupt communication comes out of your mouth (Ephesians 4:29). But you may ask, “how is it possible?” Well, I’d say it involves walking in the consciousness of Christ.
