While it’s good for us to keep healthy boundaries, it’s also essential to factor in random happenings of life during any life planning. So that just in case there’s a need to express kindness in urgency, we’ll not be adversely affected after administering it.
Choose to humble yourself before God by casting your care upon him — the care about what you have, don’t have or even need. He’s able to supply all those needs. Only be mindful of fulfilling kingdom assignments. He’ll make people honor you with you demanding it from them.
In Christ, you have spiritual senses. Put them to use, and it’ll be easy to discern between good and evil. That is, you’ll know the things that must have your attention and the things which are unprofitable to you.
What inspires you to do what you do as God’s child? Is it by faith or life circumstances? If it’s the latter, analyze your life and reorient it to synchronize with what God’s Word teaches. In that way, you’ll apply faith in even every little thing about your life.
In God’s kingdom, there’s always space for great exploits. However, it’s impossible to reach any height without using God’s grace. It has and will never be by might or human power. The labour in God’s kingdom is too huge and tasking for anything of the flesh to bear it. Learn to give credit to God’s grace for all your exploits.
There’s nothing like “no vacancy” in God’s kingdom. Space is reserved for your service. But there is a way to serve God acceptably. You need grace to do that, and the way to have that grace is by being in fellowship with Jesus.
If you’ll always be mindful of the Lord’s presence, your mind will be preoccupied with spiritual things. In that way, you’ll give no opportunity to the devil to sow condemning thoughts in your mind.
When it comes to making specific prayer requests as a brethren, be of one accord and pray. As a participant, do not let your mind waver during these gatherings. And don’t hope that God will answer the prayers. Speak by faith. Pray, for heaven hears you.
Submit to one another in the Lord. Nobody is too old or young in Christ to minister to you. Clothe yourself in godly humility and be attentive to the Word of God coming out of the mouths of the brethren.
Jesus has promised that there’s an assurance for you to progress if you’ll be a faithful overseer of whatever you have. See faithfulness as a report card. If you excel, God will take you higher.
Abandoning the gathering of the brethren because of offences never guarantees you a better life in the world. In fact, doing that will end you in more chaos than you ever think. Remain in Christ despite life crises because your life is anchored in God.
