Dear preacher, tell people that their human works cannot save them. Everything they do to please God in the flesh will never amount to anything before Him. They need to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, and this principle cuts across the entire human race, whether a Jew or a Gentile.
Because of Jesus’ atonement of sins for all humanity, each believer has become the righteousness of God. Therefore, before God, all your sins have been nailed to the cross, and you are cleansed from within. However, to see the full manifestation of your nature as God’s justified one, you need to keep hearing the gospel. But why? Because it is through the gospel that you’ll gradually get to know and understand who God has made you.
It is exciting to see people getting saved. But the work doesn’t end there. Such souls need to be discipled so they can mature spiritually, of which some may become frontiers of ministry in the near future. If God has not given up on you all these years, then don’t give up on that soul.
Dear one, just because God has spoken to you doesn’t mean things cannot happen to you. We live in an evil age (see Galatians 1:4), where the devil, who is the god of this world (see 2 Corinthians 4:4), does not like believers in Christ to thrive in their various callings peacefully. So, embrace persecution as part of your faith journey. But don’t give up despite the setbacks you face.
Dear preacher, sometimes, only God can give you a safety assurance in preaching the gospel where He has sent you. While you may have ministry friends who can suggest that you leave a place after suffering setbacks, always let your final decision be based on what God told you.
Don’t be surprised when some people reject the gospel. Many people don’t like to hear the Word of God as a part of their inherent attitude (although some cases are demonically influenced).
God will help you tread on the heights. Suppose He has given you big dreams to accomplish, and you have the strategy to get there; don’t think He will leave you on the way. As long as you walk in obedience to Him, He will help you to become successful in that vision. There will be both good and bad times. But in all those seasons, don’t give up.
I don’t know how you think about others. But if you are one of those who don’t think well of others, it’s time to repent. Your life will not go uphill when you keep looking down on others. People grow; people change, and as these things happen, so must you mature to put away childish things.
Wisdom is better than wealth. If you get divine wisdom, the riches, wealth and honour will follow. But if you chase after wealth without wisdom, you will get the money, but it won’t last because you won’t have the capacity to sustain it.
Believers must rise in their various fields of endeavour to possess the land. The kingdom of the world will be ruled by Christ through partnership with believers around the world. But the acceleration towards the fulfilment of this prophecy is delayed when we remain slack concerning purpose fulfilment and stop preaching the gospel.
God’s Word clearly says in Joel 3:10 that “…Let the weakling say, ‘I am strong!’ ”. That means, even though you may feel weak, it is your words that will propel you up to be on your feet. So, words have the creative power to turn situations around.
Don’t be too selfish with what God is doing through you to help others. He will be there for you but plans to bless you for the sake of others to benefit from you. Let go of yourself to embrace God so that He will transform you and make you desire to do His will every day of your life.
