You shall reap what you sow (see Galatians 6:7). So, it is better to sow the right seed by living a holy life, both in secret and in public, rather than practising evil things in secret. May the Lord help you to discipline your body so you can obey God’s Word.
God has given you everything pertaining to life and godliness (see 2 Peter 1:3). Those things don’t just include spiritual blessings but also things like creativity and physical agility to choose God’s path every day. Don’t downplay this privilege. Use it well.
If you are in Zion (signifying those born again) and your life is too flexible (at ease or lazy), there’s something wrong. Why? In God’s kingdom, there is pressure to make advancements to establish God’s purposes on Earth. Don’t entertain laziness in your life.
If you want to greet another believer with a kiss, let that kiss be holy — not mouth to mouth, but one meant to exchange pleasantries. Avoid overstepping your boundaries to do crazy things because of misrepresentation of what the Bible has said.
Are you stuck with pressures coming from numerous life activities you’re involved in? Kindly take a break, evaluate your life and put things back into order. It might seem hard to do, but its long-term benefit to your life will be more than you can ever imagine.
Life is not easy. But thriving in your spiritual growth is what will make other areas of your life more beautiful. Instead of getting distracted by the many cares of this world, why don’t you prioritise having a sweet relationship with God so that He can bless you?
God is love, and love is not self-seeking (see 1 Corinthians 13:5). So since God is in you (speaking to believers), He doesn’t want you to have a “me me” (selfish) life. He wants you to influence many for Christ. But that is not possible if you don’t trade your life for Jesus.
You don’t need to pressure yourself to hook up with someone just because of societal pressures. No! Take your time to discover your purpose in Christ, put that work in order, choose your partner correctly and be faithful. You are never late in life because God has got your back.
Never think you are too wise to evade taxes. Just be diligent with money. Don’t cheat and cut corners in your finance handling lifestyle. It will do you no good. In fact, it is nice to be a law-abiding believer who isn’t at fault with any government law. You’ll just have your peace to live unto God.
According to Jesus, serving many with what God has given you is what counts for your greatness, not what you have or some money in your account. This boils down to the truth that desiring to be great without having a transactional mindset of helping others will turn that desire into greed and self-gratification, which God doesn’t like. Give glory to God for what you have and will ever get.
Make provisions to avoid distractions during the reception of the Word, especially in church. If it’s your phone you have to put on silent mode, sit closer to the podium, or sit by strangers so you won’t be involved in a conversation, do it. It will help you.
The devil likes using spaces. That is why he gives idle people evil ideas to manipulate their lives. Give no space to the devil. Even if you are enjoying some free time moments, let it honour God. And you can do that so easily when the Word dwells in your heart so richly. Occupy your inner man with God’s substance, dear one, and make no provisions for the flesh.
