Dear preacher, when you go out there to preach the message of salvation for people to be saved, don’t neglect to highlight the importance of believing in the resurrection of Christ for the unbelievers in your audience. It is crucial and serves as the bedrock of the faith in Christ (see 1 Corinthians 15:17).
There are certain choices God made for you before bringing you into the world. You didn’t choose your parents, nationality (of birth), skin colour, and other fundamental background realities. So, instead of blaming God for such choices, accept them and live to pursue the fullness of your destiny in God.
Dear one, your life is precious to God. It is time-bound for you to fulfil what God has called you to do on Earth. Avoid using it for gratifying fleshly desires. Instead, use it to do what God has called you to do.
If you are reading this and you don’t have any desire to please God, or you have lost that desire, then it’s time to dethrone that “flesh” government on your mind and pursue a deeper intimacy with God for Him to restore your desire to know Him.
Suffering some setbacks may make you think that you are moving backwards. But what if I told you that those setbacks may be God’s setups for you to propel higher and faster?
According to Romans 8:16, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit is the One who bears witness with each believer’s spirit that one is a child of God. So, He’s an inner witness to us, and one of the things He does is to make us know that we are indeed children of God.
As a child of God, you have received divine enablement to live by the dictates of the Spirit. So, with that power in you, use it to mortify the deeds of the flesh that present themselves in the form of temptations. It is well with you on every side.
Dear one, God has predestined you to be conformed to the image of His Son Jesus. Therefore, stop seeking approval or identity in the things of the world, both material and immaterial things. Things don’t work that way. Stick to Christ, keep fellowshipping with Him, and make sure that He’s the number one priority in all you do.
Today, if you have faced persecution for spreading the gospel, I want to encourage you to get up and move on. Life won’t always be rosy for you as a Christian. But remember that God is with you. Above all, take good care of yourself.
God loved the world so much that He gave the world Jesus Christ to come, die and atone for the sins of humanity. Today, there is no hindrance between God and man because Jesus has cleared the way by taking away sin.
God knew that all had sinned and fallen short of His glory (see Romans 3:23). So, if God wanted to punish humanity by making atonement for their sins, then all deserve to be in hell. But God didn’t do that. He chose to place all of humanity’s sin on Jesus so He would atone for it and be a propitiation for our sins.
Today, your sins are no longer imputed on you because Jesus Christ has born them on the cross. So, instead of beating yourself up for all the wrongdoings you may have done, show the devil that Jesus has paid for your sins. Therefore, you have been set free in Christ. Walk in this consciousness, and you’ll enjoy your freedom.
