God’s Righteousness Is Given Through Faith in Jesus Christ

[21] “But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. [22] This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile” – Romans 3:21-22 (NIV)

In the Old Testament, the Israelites used to live by certain laws and ordinances. Today, most Jews are still not saved because they don’t believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Such a tragedy. But here’s what the Bible says. Apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been made known, which the law and the prophets testify (meaning, Jesus Christ’s new order of righteousness has references in the Old Testament). This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ, not by any human doing or merit.

So, as long as a person doesn’t believe in Jesus as the Christ, they don’t have God’s righteousness, making them still in their sins. That is why every unbeliever needs to hear the gospel of Christ to be saved. To those Jews who still don’t believe in Jesus, they are not saved.

Dear preacher, tell people that their human works cannot save them. Everything they do to please God in the flesh will never amount to anything before Him. They need to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, and this principle cuts across the entire human race, whether a Jew or a Gentile. Keep witnessing to others about Jesus.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your love and care in my life. Help me to keep spreading the Word of Your grace to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
