Crave Pure Spiritual Milk

Babies cry to their mothers when they are hungry. In Christ, that implies you must not casually expect to be fed by the labour of your pastor or ministers. Instead, you must pursue knowing God by yourself by becoming more deterministic in consuming sound doctrine in the Word.

Be Holy in All You Do

God instructs us through Peter that we must be holy in all we do (1 Peter 1:14-16). But how? By refusing to conform to the evil desires we had when we didn’t know God. And checking our actions to ensure each one carries an element of godliness.

The Lord Is My Shepherd

Until you’ve gone through a season of pain, scarcity and temporary abandonment by people, you’ll not truly understand what it means to declare, “The Lord is my shepherd.” Why? Because others will provide for you, and you’ll not have any reason to come before God for your needs. God is your source, not your job, parents, guardians or investments.

Take Refuge Before Danger Strikes

Dear leader, don’t watch your vision go down the drain by ignoring the study of how things work. It’s not good to adjust your work to do what others are doing. However, you can learn from people, get ideas, pray for God to screen them and do the ones He wants you to add to your organisation.

Obey Your Parents in the Lord

When Apostle Paul said this to the Ephesian church, he was speaking from a spiritual-fatherly perspective. He told them to obey their shepherds in the Lord. But when it came to the biological parents, he said they should honour them (Ephesians 6:2). Why? Because Paul knew not all biological parents are also spiritual parents to their children.
