Meditate in the Word

Joshua 1:8 (KJV/NKJV) says “… meditate IN the Word,” not “meditate ON the Word.” When you meditate in the Word, you’re focused on getting the intent of the writer (who was led by the Holy Spirit). Allow them to serve the Lord with gladness, creating avenues to let their spiritual gifts come to bear in the fullness of God.

Make sure you have at least seven people in your life who have the liberty and boldness to correct you when you’re wrong without you feeling awful about their talk. It’s for your own safety so that you’ll have enough guidance to finish your race of faith well.
