Joshua 1:8 (KJV/NKJV) says “… meditate IN the Word,” not “meditate ON the Word.” When you meditate in the Word, you’re focused on getting the intent of the writer (who was led by the Holy Spirit). But meditating ON the Word, you view it with your own understanding, which can lead to wrong scriptural interpretation. Please beware of it!
God is good. Even though He’s your Father and Master, He is loving and caring. He knows sin can destroy you. That’s why He has provided whatever you need to live in abstinence to it. Use that privilege by the empowerment of the Spirit.

Bring the ‘delivered’ to Jesus. Teach them God’s Word. But don’t cage them into your ministry. Allow them to serve the Lord with gladness, creating avenues to let their spiritual gifts come to bear in the fullness of God.
To every parent out there reading this, be it spiritual or biological, be thus reminded that there is hope in disciplining your children. They may behave in obscene ways today, but your consistent correction in God’s ways will form God’s Word in them. Don’t give up!
Be wise to build security around your life, especially as a minister of Christ. Make sure you have at least seven people in your life who have the liberty and boldness to correct you when you’re wrong without you feeling awful about their talk. It’s for your own safety so that you’ll have enough guidance to finish your race of faith well.
