Present Your Body as a Living Sacrifice unto God
Life is beyond your physical achievements and possessions. So if you want your good works to outlive your physical existence, follow Jesus today, not lukewarmly, but graciously and sacrificially.

Learn how to forgive people voluntarily with a willing heart. If you do this, many problems with people in your life will be solved, even without prayer.
Vision without work is like sleeping, only to never wake up. There are some things you must possess and do if you want to actualise your vision. And today, I’m glad to share three of them with you.
If you want to be first, you must be the last. If you want to become great amongst people, you must serve everyone on that team.
I want to encourage you that it pays to make a lot of sacrifices in order to live on purpose. You might not see the immediate benefits of your good work today. But it’s compounding to a great tomorrow that you’ll be shocked if God reveals it to you.
As long as we live in a wicked world (1 John 5:19), there’ll be persecutions against our faith. And when the persecution becomes as fierce as people hating us and blood-brothers delivering up (total neglect to take care of our needs, so to say) siblings to get killed, we should endure till the end.
You may be well trained in church to live a godly life. But what about your personal fellowship with Jesus? How is your love for Him like today? Have you forsaken your first love — the Lord Jesus, who saved you and gave you eternal life? Think about this.
Your personal intimacy with the Lord won’t grow by automation. You have a part to play. Put fire on your altar. Learn how to pray when nobody is around you. Learn how to study the Bible yourself. God never saved you to make you too dependent on the works of His servants. Connect to Him individually and daily.
As a servant of God, you have to learn how to endure afflictions. You must learn how to live and fulfil your divine mandate, whether you have meagre or many resources, be it financial wise or human resource-wise.
Life isn’t a rush. Life is about purpose. And the director of your life is the Lord of heaven. Be anchored in your identity in Him, and don’t be intimidated by what people are doing to move on. Each person’s race of faith is in Christ, but everyone’s purpose is unique. Walk with the Lord, and obey your leaders in Christ.
Did Jesus require our permission to die for us? No! Nevertheless, He died because He knew we would need Him. Lay down your life for the brethren.
When you count the cost involved in anything you are about to build, your preparation for it becomes better and more explicit.
