God Will Direct Your Steps
When God becomes Lord over your plan, He’ll direct your steps without you needing to struggle to make it.
Deal with Issues from the Root Causes
In Proverbs 26:20, Solomon, by divine inspiration, tells us that to deal with a fire outbreak, focus on destroying the wood that fuels the fire to burn. And to deal with quarrels, simply avoid gossip. So God is indirectly telling us today that we must learn how to deal with issues from the root causes and not the result.
The Number One Need for Every Plan to Be Successful
Nothing sustains itself. It’s divine wisdom that upholds all things. Talk about marriage, ministry, money, et cetera. You must understand how things work. It’s not just about getting that idea on paper. It is about knowing how to work it out to see it become sustained for long.
Silence the Distractor
The devil used Peter’s compassion as a distraction to Jesus’ decision to lay down His life for all. But Jesus silenced Satan, calling Him by name. Know when to address issues by their root without blaming the people who got used to cause it.
Maximise Impact Through Teamwork
To maximise impact through teamwork, follow Jesus’s principle in Mark 3:14. He called the disciples first to be with Him, and later send them out. You have to train your team by teaching the ways of God consistently, make them understand God’s vision for your organisation before handling tasks to them.
Trust God for Provision
Just as the Apostles obeyed Jesus, went out to preach and came back rejoicing for the exploits God used them to wrought on the mission field, so you’ll return to God rejoicing each day for learning obedience through the things you have suffered (or suffering now).
How Greatness Connects to Achievements
Looking at Matthew 23:11 again, Jesus addressed the disciples as a group. He explained that the one person who wanted to be the greatest would serve all of them. That means, your greatness is linked to your achievements if what you achieve serve other people’s needs
Know Where to Place Value
Jesus knows the importance of value. So He said in Matthew 7:6 that you shouldn’t give what is holy to dogs; neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest they trample them underfoot and damage them. In other words, Jesus was cautioning us to know where to place value, so we can allocate what’s good to the right people.
Be Holy in All You Do
God instructs us through Peter that we must be holy in all we do (1 Peter 1:14-16). But how? By refusing to conform to the evil desires we had when we didn’t know God. And checking our actions to ensure each one carries an element of godliness.
Make Conscious Sacrifices to Obey God
David kept his feet from evil people only to stay true to God’s Word. In today’s world, it’s just like consciously deciding to disassociate yourself from bad people to preserve the prophecies upon your life.
Supervise the Growth of Your Work
God made the world and saw that everything He has done was good. But He still created and appointed man to have dominion over His creation.
Although what God created wasn’t problematic, He needed man to manage and supervise the growth of the work done. Today, it’s like building an organisation and hiring others to manage your systems for you. It’s not new; it’s a principle of scripture.
Take Refuge Before Danger Strikes
Dear leader, don’t watch your vision go down the drain by ignoring the study of how things work. It’s not good to adjust your work to do what others are doing. However, you can learn from people, get ideas, pray for God to screen them and do the ones He wants you to add to your organisation.
