“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” — Proverbs 22:3 NIV
It requires wisdom to take refuge before danger strikes. And because of this truth, many people have had their ministries, businesses and families struggle due to ignorance of relevant information.
I once chose to stay around my university campus after school was out of session for a while. While going out to get some groceries, many food vendors and market women complained that they record low sales every time the students go on vacation.
As I kept hearing this tragedy, I started thinking about how these people aren’t seeing the need to set up other businesses elsewhere that’ll keep them engaged when school is out of session. So that when school reopens, they can employ others to manage those businesses while they themselves return to the school environs to do business.
Don't watch your vision go down the drain by ignoring the study of how things work. Share on XYou see that these people always encounter the dangers of slow business every year, yet they don’t have insight into how to deal with the issue.
Every recurring issue in your life should signal that you’re not developing a permanent solution to it. Some problems are unpredictable. But for some, when they are coming, the wise person will see it.
A businessperson who monitors business trends in his niche will keep planning on improving upon his company to become abreast with the facts. It’s the same for ministries.
You can attest to the fact that these days, any ministry that doesn’t invest in technology won’t reach many people around the globe for Christ. Why? Because we live in a high-tech advancing world. It’s all about vision.
Dear leader, don’t watch your vision go down the drain by ignoring the study of how things work. It’s not good to adjust your work to do what others are doing. However, you can learn from people, get ideas, pray for God to screen them and do the ones He wants you to add to your organisation.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer
Father, I ask You to give me insight into dangers coming; so I can strongly follow Your will and understand how systems work in order to update my knowledge. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
