Enduring God’s Chastening as His Child

No loving parent chastises their child to drive them away but rather to bring them back onto the right path. Similarly, God’s chastisement is not meant to condemn us but to lead us to repentance and restoration. As His children, we must recognise His authority over us and submit to His loving correction, trusting that it is for our ultimate good.

Discipleship Is Real Work

As a shepherd, let it be in your consciousness that your work is not done when you introduce a soul to Jesus. Ensuring that person is discipled is even more laborious. Embrace it and let God strengthen you to work on it.

Cleanse Them by Preaching The Word Constantly

Some people in your team may be misbehaving. Don’t worry about their attitude or your pain. Cleanse them by preaching the Word constantly. If you like, don’t even focus on pointing out their faults. Teach them God’s Word. That same Word is what they need to have their lives cleansed. Be encouraged today, and press on in leadership.

The Inworking and Outworking Aspects of Salvation In Christ

Salvation is for every person on earth because Jesus came to die for all. But it’s not just a mere escape from hell. It’s also a continual process that seeks to transform you, both inwardly and outwardly until you become just like Jesus. The inworking and outworking aspects of salvation are written in Philippians 2:12-13, and knowing them will help you to understand your walk with God.

Become Like Your Master

In order to be Christ-like in all your ways, you’ve got to humble yourself before God to be trained. That includes spending time fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. That also includes submitting to spiritual mentorship in Christ and being consistently present in the gathering of the saints.

A Famine of God’s Word

God has said He’ll send the famine of His Word, but certainly not without a solution. You are the solution. Continue to be in fellowship with the Lord, and study His Word. For the days shall come where the attitudes of people will be so bad that it’s as if they never know God, even if they are in churches. Be determined to be different!

Keep His Word

Jesus’ sermons were always Spirit-filled and accurate in Truth. Yet, it mattered (and still matters) to Him that people should keep His Word instead of merely listening to Him.
