You Have What It Takes to Subdue the Earth

[28] “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:28 (KJV)

With anything God commands you to do, He provides the grace, power and ability to do it. So when God created man and told them to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, He knew that we are capable of doing that. Today, this prophecy is still getting fulfilled as more and more places are being inhabited by people, businesses are forming, ministries are being built, and so forth. Unfortunately, the fulfilment of this prophecy has taken a slight curve from God’s intended way because of the increase of sin.

For example, plotting evil deeds by people in secret to execute on the face of this Earth isn’t God’s idea. But because the people doing such things usually have economic power, they manipulate the system to suit their evil desires, and people are suffering. If you don’t rise to the level God destined your life to be and take God at His Word, your life won’t be a fulfilment of Genesis 1:28, and I don’t want that to happen to you.

You have what it takes to subdue the Earth. You are spiritually blessed in Christ. But it takes divine wisdom to draw out such spiritual blessings to life for the impact of generations, even those unborn. Will you quit depending on corrupt politicians and government officials to do what God has called you to do? Yes, when people talk and complain about bad governance and worldly systems, those in authority can be shaken up. But God never said depend on the world to fulfil what He has called you to do. Come on! Trust Him to perfect everything concerning His promises in Your life.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, teach me everything I need to draw out Your purpose for my life into reality. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
