[13] “Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.” – Romans 14:13 NIV
Fault finding is one of the commonest things people do to measure other people’s lives. The average person finds it easier to identify the mistakes of others more than his own. And this is one of the reasons why relationship problems keep rising amongst several people, even in marital homes.
Scripture warns strongly in Romans 14:13 that you should stop passing judgment on another believer’s life no matter what he does. Please listen to this carefully. The maturity level in Christ is different among believers. And as long as that holds, people may do things that they think there’s nothing wrong with because their faith doesn’t condemn them. So, if you constantly analyse what others do, you’ll always find fault. Instead of judging others, why don’t you allow God to let you know the various things that aren’t going on well in your life so you can deal with them?
Everybody’s faith journey is different. Be patient with people to grow in their stepwise knowledge of God. And lead a quiet life, lest you encounter problems with people you can avoid.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for everything You keep doing for me. Help me have meaningful relationships with other people as I live so that I can fulfil Your will each day. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
