“…who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised because of our justification.” - Romans 4:25 NKJV
Suppose a man commits a crime, gets arrested by the police, and then sent to court, he will be convicted of the crime and judged according to the country’s or state’s laws. In God’s justice system, there’s no remission of sins without the shedding of blood (Hebrews 9:22).
So God loved the world and gave up His Son Jesus to take away the sin of the world by dying for our sake (John 1:29). By the shedding of His blood, every sin ever committed on this earth (past, present, and future) had been paid by Him.
However, to seal this spiritual transaction, Jesus was raised for our justification. So not only are our sins remitted, but also we are justified and have peace with God (Romans 5:1). That means we’re acquitted of any sin because of Jesus.
Friend, no devil can condemn you because Christ has remitted your sins. God doesn’t remember your sins. Therefore, forget what God has forgotten. Be at peace in your mind, knowing very well that Christ Jesus was raised for your justification. Live condemnation-free in Jesus’ name. Amen
You’re a blessing.
