Meditate in the Word
Joshua 1:8 (KJV/NKJV) says “… meditate IN the Word,” not “meditate ON the Word.” When you meditate in the Word, you’re focused on getting the intent of the writer (who was led by the Holy Spirit). But meditating ON the Word, you view it with your own understanding, which can lead to wrong scriptural interpretation. Please beware of it!

Jesus is the builder of His church, not you. So with whatever He has called you to do, He is the leader even as you’re the leader of your team or home (I speak to godly married men in this case). And because of that, His work by grace empowerment in you contributes directly to the global building of the Church.
