[27] “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” — Jeremiah 32:27 NKJV
When I went for my first lecture at the university as a Computer Science student, I heard the lecturer mentioning programming terms I had never heard before. Although I was developing interest in the course, a time came when I felt like quitting because I didn’t understand what I was taught and struggled to do assignments. But here I am today, giving glory to God for completing the course and becoming more proficient in technology. In my deepest struggles, I never forgot that God was (and is still) in me. And because of that, I believed Him to do extraordinary things by the empowerment of His Spirit in me.
In Jeremiah 32:27, God said something profound to the prophet Jeremiah that needs to be grasped so strongly by each child of God today. He said (paraphrasing) He’s the God of all flesh; nothing is too difficult for Him. Wow!
Imagine the whole Creator of the universe subdued by something He created. Impossible, right? It’s just like a toddler saying that he’ll beat his father. Obviously, he can’t do it.
Everything in this universe is under the control of God’s power. So He can do all things. And if this same God lives in you (see Romans 8:9, 1 John 4:4), then I want to minister grace to you today, that nothing will be too difficult for you to do. Others may think that the job is too complex or requires much creative thinking to do. But let the extraordinary God in you arise. Pray to receive inspiration from Him to counter any situation before you. You’re strong in the name of Jesus.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for revealing in Your Word that nothing is too hard for You. I believe that since You’re in me, I can do all things by Your divine enablement. So help me, God.
