The eternal life Jesus has given you is beyond what you physically have. It’s about knowing Him, so much so that every blessing from Him aids you in enjoying life as you fulfil your divine mandate. Live with Jesus as Your focus.
Blessed one, your purpose can only be discovered in Christ. And the deeper you get to know Jesus as you engage yourself in what you were born to do, the more you’ll be surprised by the many things you can do.
[2] “Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; [3] nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; [4] and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.” – 1 Peter 5:2-4 (NKJV)
There are some sufferings you cannot escape in life because they’re designed by God to teach you lessons. But in such circumstances, what do you do, especially when you can’t explain why you’re going through that pain? Your answer is in 1 Peter 4:19.
Go for peace rather than arguments; for you were called unto peace in the body of Christ, not to the world.
As a believer, acknowledge that God’s plan for your life is for your good. He desires to bless you with so much abundance in order to enjoy life as well as be a blessing to others.
The insight God has given you to judge situations righteously can only be put to use when you speak. Refuse to let worldly opinions override what God has told you in your mind. If God never fails, His Word will never fail too. Stay faithful to Him.
If a child of God can distinguish between what is holy and what is profane, he needs discernment, not common sense. And you can go for that today by the empowerment of Jesus.
Many people don’t revere Jesus from their hearts. That is why they don’t do what He says, even though some go to church and listen to His Word each week. If you’ve taken your faith journey seriously, continue pressing on. Listen not to the talk of people who don’t revere the ways of God. However, most importantly, surround your life with like-minded believers who’ll help you in your faith journey.
God has made this world such that seedtime and harvest will always revolve (see Genesis 8:22). You’ll always reap what you sow, but not how you sow it; it’ll be more than what you sow.
If you’re a ministry leader reading this, please insist on leading the church to evangelise to people. If you’re a Christian belonging to a church, never forget to preach Jesus to people who come around you or who you encounter in life. Enough of beating around the gospel. Hell must be depopulated. Play your part!
A purpose-driven way of living makes you live a very tight life. You won’t involve yourself in just anything that comes your way. No! God shows you what to do each day and teaches you how to be committed to the vision.
