ByAs a leader whom God led to pioneer The Bible Daily Network in 2018, I’ve had the privilege of seeing a ministry that started as a Facebook page grow to become an increasingly expanding digital ministry on several online platforms, impacting people around the globe each day. Has the journey been easy? Of course not! If I said that it was, I would be lying. There were times I had to overwork for months with a few team members on board. But the Lord has been faithful, and this is how far He has brought us. Today, I don’t want to share my experience, but the principles in God’s Word on what it takes to build and establish anything in God’s Kingdom, which I used (and still use) to get to this height of ministry. Maybe you are reading this as a person wanting to start a business and think that, oh, this article is for pastors. But my friend, the principles in today’s article apply to you too, once what’s in your mind will benefit people and is somehow related to God’s kingdom. Before I begin, let’s read the scripture from which the article was written.
[3] “Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; [4] By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches.”

Building an organisation
In the above verse, the word “organisation” is never mentioned. But just like how many people, especially young men, are bent on building houses, every organisation is a house to be built, just like a business or any ordinary house. By saying “building,” I don’t mean physical buildings. No! I’m speaking about implementing the architectural administrative design of systems and structures that will sustain and grow the organisation. And according to Proverbs 24:3, wisdom is the principal thing to possess in order to build such spiritual architectural design.
Through wisdom, a house is built
I checked for the meaning of the word “wisdom” in Proverbs 24:3, which means “wisdom, in terms of administration.” Interesting. Here is a powerful truth about building an organisation. Wisdom is needed to set up a proper administration behind every organisation’s purpose for existence. When the administration is well-built, with great people sitting by each area of the organisation to ensure work gets done well, the impact will automatically flow.

For example, let’s say you own a restaurant as a believer. What will distinguish you from others to the very core is the wisdom behind whatever food you prepare. Nobody has ever cracked the recipe code for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). Yet it tastes the same in each one of its branches on the face of this earth. That is wisdom!
Some people think every business scope or ministry trend is over-populated with many organisations. Well, I want to tell you that the wisdom you need to distinguish yourself from the crowd is in the hands of God. Approach Him to get it and use it.
And by understanding, it is established
Further to building that organisation with God’s wisdom, it has to be established or stable so it’ll last forever. Now, God’s Word says what will make that happen is called “understanding.”
The word “understanding” in Proverbs 24:3 means “skilfulness or intelligence.” For instance, I used how KFC used wisdom to derive secret recipes for their chicken. Now, what has kept that business standing to date is understanding. How have they maintained the standard to date? It’s super intelligence.
I don’t know whether the KFC founder was a Christian or not. But whether it’s so or not, that man has applied Biblical principles to sustain the business to date. And we, the children of God, must learn from this very analytically.

How does it feel to build a house, yet unfurnished with all the necessary house needs such as kitchenware and furniture? The house won’t be a comfortable place to live in. Right?
The Bible says by knowledge, the rooms (of the house, i.e., organisation) you’re building are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. You may ask, what is the meaning of this? Here’s the answer.
What is going to help you ensure every part (or department) of that organisation is filled with adequate intellectual property for maximum impact is knowledge, which is translated as “perception.”
As a boss, create enough room for each employee to come up with fresh ideas to spice up the work they do. Don’t always lay out the work they should do to them, or else your organisation won’t spread in impact beyond your thinking capacity.
