God Made You Different for a Purpose

Do you think it is normal for the arrival of the Messiah to end the lives of many children? No! The death of those children wasn’t God’s will, but it happened because Herod, the king, issued that command in anger. Some children pose a severe threat to families the very day they are born. If that’s your case, then know that God made you different for a purpose.

Be Wary of How Hypocrites Behave Towards You

How can king Herod who loves and cares for the people he rules suddenly issue a command for children to get killed? Just like that? I believe he was demon-influenced to that. But as a lesson, be wary of how hypocrites behave towards you. They may smile and look funny, but their intentions are wrong. Pray for God to deliver you from wicked people.

Celebrate Christmas with Christ Consciousness

As you celebrate Christmas, it’s expedient to remember that Jesus is the reason for this advent season, not food, winter or because of the day in the calendar. Without Jesus, there wouldn’t have been Christmas. So, once you celebrate it with Christ consciousness in mind, you’ll not be carried away by the festive activities of people but rather deepen your reverence for Jesus Christ.

Unto Us a Child Is Given

Every married couple glorifies God when a child is born unto them. They become joyous not because of what the world will benefit from that child but because that child becomes a blessing to them. But for Jesus, He was born for us. Glory!

Don’t Let Impatience Interfere What God Is Doing in You

After the angel of the Lord had instructed Joseph to take Mary home as his wife, the turmoil in his life didn’t end. In Matthew 1:25, the Bible says he didn’t consummate their marriage until Mary gave birth to Jesus. In other words, he didn’t have sex with pregnant Mary until she gave birth. That probably means Joseph waited for about nine months or more before having his first sex with his wife. Today, how many men can be that patient?

Don’t Make Major Decisions So Fast

Imagine if Joseph had rushed with his decision to divorce. Mary could have been stoned to death because, in those days, fornication was punishable by death through stoning. Dear one, don’t make major decisions so fast. Build your intimacy with God so you can hear what He says about your life anytime you approach Him with a case to handle.

By Their Fruits, You Shall Know Them

In Romans 16:17, Paul instructs believers to be vigilant and avoid individuals who cause division within the church. Unfortunately, prolonged involvement in a church community can expose believers to offences committed by fellow Christians. These offences may include betrayal, gossip, and acts of selfish ambition. While forgiving those who wrong us is essential, it is equally important to distance ourselves from those who persistently sow seeds of discord.

The Light Shines in the Darkness

Jesus is the light of the world. When He became the Word incarnate, He appeared as the light that shines in the darkness. Why? Because the world is dark without Him? Have you ever wondered why sin is continually increasing in the world? It’s because Jesus is not expressed in that area of life. But these things ought to change. And who can lead that change? It is the believers in Christ—you and me.

In the Beginning Was the Word
