The best way to secure that child’s future is to teach him to remember his creator in the days of his youth. On the other hand, ensure your children love church right from their infancy. It’ll establish them in God.

One of the most exciting things about being a youth is that you can do so much in those years. Some people use those times to engage in secular entertainment, adversely affecting them later in life. Proverbs 19:15 tells us that laziness brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless (idle person) goes hungry. That means a person is bound to go hungry when he subjects his life to laziness. Think about this. Do you think God gave you all the talents, abilities and spiritual gifts to let it remain dormant in you? Of course not. You have no excuse for being lazy.

Seal every part of your life with the work and Word of God. Leave no area unattended. If you are working, be diligent. And if you are married, be a good spouse there, too. Whatever you add to your life, organise it well to oversee every area of it.
