Before Jesus died on the cross and resurrected, all the kingdoms of this world were in the hands of the devil. But now, he doesn’t have that possession because Jesus has broken his power. The devil has no power.

The Israelites in Nazareth didn’t know Jesus could have performed more miracles than He did when the despised Him. Dishonour makes you lose precious gifts you could have received. Sometimes, you’ll not know it. Learn to view people as how God sees them, not how they appear before you.

When Jesus overheard news reporters telling Him that Jaruis’ daughter is dead, He didn’t grieve. He told Jarius to believe instead of mourning. In the midst of trials, be careful who you speak to, because they can magnify your pain or encourage you to deal with it.

There is no self-discipline without a clear vision. Why? Because it’s the vision that will help you determine how to use your time, energy, money and other resources. Without it, you’ll live a loose life.

Salvation is for every person on earth because Jesus came to die for all. But it’s not just a mere escape from hell. It’s also a continual process that seeks to transform you, both inwardly and outwardly until you become just like Jesus. The inworking and outworking aspects of salvation are written in Philippians 2:12-13, and knowing them will help you to understand your walk with God.

Jesus said that when the bridegroom (Himself) had been taken from them (signifying his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension to heaven), then they would fast (not “can fast”). That means that fasting is a mandatory spiritual exercise for every Christian, whether one knows it or not. You must fast. But there are prerequisites to effective fasting in Christ. And knowing them will be of great help to you spiritually.

Vision gives birth to purposeful living. And your purpose determines your discipline, which in turn, adds value to your time. Until you focus on what God has called you to do, you’ll not see much fruition in it.

One of the rarest ministries in Christ is the ministry of encouragement. There are several preachers who preach to edify God’s people, but only a few ministers are called only to encourage others in the Lord from scripture.

Vision without work is like sleeping, only to never wake up. There are some things you must possess and do if you want to actualise your vision. And today, I’m glad to share three of them with you.

A tree branch with many leaves doesn’t realise it needs pruning to become more fruitful until the owner does it. In the same way, God prunes His children, including you and me, in Christ so we can become more productive in our lives.

Whenever a new year is around the corner on December 31, many people desire to see positive changes in various aspects of their lives in the upcoming year. Well, that is not bad. In fact, it’s good. However, in most cases, years pass by without many of us experiencing the changes we desire to see. But have we asked ourselves what causes these problems? Choices are more powerful than statistics. And that means your story can differ from the masses if you choose to. However, you must be willing to pay the price to be different.

If the wise men had disobeyed God, baby Jesus would have been killed by Herod. The saviour of man wouldn’t have executed His divine mandate — that is, taking away the sin of the world (John 1:29). That also means there would be nothing like salvation, and people would have continued wallowing in sin worse than today. One simple obedience has collaborated to billions of people having access to salvation today and counting.

As we celebrate the birth of the prince of peace today, never forget that you are who you are because of Him. Enjoy yourself, and feast together as a family. But do everything to glorify Him. And as you move on with your life, always give Him the space to effect changes in Your life that’ll glorify the Father of lights.

Many people celebrate Christmas without discerning the reasons why Jesus came into the world. He didn’t come to be celebrated on Christmas holidays. He came with a mission – which is to revolutionalise this world to conform to the patterns of God.

Joseph was from the tribe of Judah. So if Mary had lost him, we wouldn’t have had any right to call Jesus the “Lion of Judah.” Can you discern your man well, virtuous woman? Don’t treat him like a jerk or a son. Love him, respect him and care deeply about his welfare because men rarely get even a little of this kind of treatment from women except for their mothers and sometimes sisters.

Joseph was a just man. He was faithful to the laws of God. And because of his integrity, he wanted to divorce Mary quietly after finding out she was pregnant through the Holy Spirit. What this would have meant is that Mary would be stoned to death and also accused of committing adultery since Joseph wasn’t the one who impregnated her. But God protects godly relationships from failing.
