The prodigal son thought he could live without his father, but he later realised he needed to return. In the same way, no matter how much you have sinned, God is always ready to forgive you. If you have turned away from God, come back to Him today. He is waiting for you with love and grace.
Have you battled sickness all your life, thinking it will never end? Get rid of that “permanently ill” mindset you have, and start believing in God for healing right now. Like the woman who suffered from a haemorrhage for years, be determined to get your health back in Jesus. Keep praying!
John the Baptist was very wise. He attributed the disciples he had to God’s blessing, not to his own labour or effort. So, if the people were leaving to follow Jesus, it was not his doing but God’s doing. That means, in ministry, there are some members you can lose as a church pastor, even if you do everything right. Not everyone who leaves church is as a result of offence or disagreement.
God’s word says He will give you a righteous reward that shines like the dawn when you commit your ways to Him. I’m sure you want God’s rewards. Right? But what does it mean to commit your way to Him?
If you stand in the realm of grace, then it means that that realm is so vast that it can contain you and all other believers in Christ. Furthermore, it means that the possibilities in the grace of God are endless because no human yardstick can measure the realm of grace. But the question is, how many possibilities in God’s grace have you known by revelation and pressed hard in the Spirit to walk in its reality?
Salvation, the most precious gift God will ever give to anybody who is an unbeliever, cost Jesus’ life. Though it is a free gift from God, it isn’t cheap because the Son of man died for us when we were unworthy. No believer, including you and I, is ever qualified to get salvation from God. That is why the Bible says it is by grace we have been saved. Think about that!
The Christian has life, but that life is the life of Jesus operational in Him. On the other hand, the unbeliever does not have life because he doesn’t have Jesus. So, here is truth. The God-kind of life surpasses anything you can see in this world. Don’t be deceived.
With understanding from Galatians 6:9, consistently doing good to people is an investment. It’s an act of sowing which will yield returns when the giver doesn’t give up. But those returns will come in due season, which you may never know.
The journey of life is long—talking about day after day, week after week, month after month and years after years. You don’t need to rush to fulfil what God has said about your life in your own time. Yes, I understand that it is good to live the dream. But it takes patience to get there. Wage war on God’s prophecies about your life by prayer as you work. The Lord will perfect everything concerning your life.
You cannot have an impactful ministry if you speak like a toddler before people, even if God has anointed you. No! You need divine authority to fuel your charisma to lead and teach God’s people entrusted in your hands.
Whatever God calls you to do, He supplies the grace to fulfil it. So, maybe you’ve been slack in doing something He told you to do or have delayed. But, just as scripture has said, please do not receive God’s grace in vain in your journey to fulfil your calling.
You can always triumph against the enemy, who’s the one behind such thoughts. But you must understand your spiritual authority in Christ so you can use it to cast down every imagination that stands up against the cause of Christ in your life.
