Gracious words are pure in God’s sight. But why? It’s because He knows such words come from a purified heart and mind. So, the main reason some believers who know God speak graciously and wisely is because of how God’s Word has made their hearts soft, not really because they are good people.
Dear one, as long as you have life today, you have another opportunity to contribute to your database of good works in Christ. Don’t let the enemy deceive you that you don’t have to do more today. No! There are higher realms of impact than where God has taken you right now. It can only get better with you.
In Romans 12:3, Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote that as a believer in Christ, you should not think of yourself more highly than you ought to but rather think of yourself with sober judgement. My emphasis is on the word “sober.” To be sober means to be moderate, solemn, or of sound mind. That composure in the mindset prevents you from talking pridefully or thinking you are more important than others in this life, even if your status in society is somehow elevated.

When you step up into the fullness of your divine calling, people are going to be more surprised about you.

The prodigal son thought he could live without his father, but he later realised he needed to return. In the same way, no matter how much you have sinned, God is always ready to forgive you. If you have turned away from God, come back to Him today. He is waiting for you with love and grace.

John the Baptist was very wise. He attributed the disciples he had to God’s blessing, not to his own labour or effort. So, if the people were leaving to follow Jesus, it was not his doing but God’s doing. That means, in ministry, there are some members you can lose as a church pastor, even if you do everything right. Not everyone who leaves church is as a result of offence or disagreement.
God’s word says He will give you a righteous reward that shines like the dawn when you commit your ways to Him. I’m sure you want God’s rewards. Right? But what does it mean to commit your way to Him?
If you stand in the realm of grace, then it means that that realm is so vast that it can contain you and all other believers in Christ. Furthermore, it means that the possibilities in the grace of God are endless because no human yardstick can measure the realm of grace. But the question is, how many possibilities in God’s grace have you known by revelation and pressed hard in the Spirit to walk in its reality?
Salvation, the most precious gift God will ever give to anybody who is an unbeliever, cost Jesus’ life. Though it is a free gift from God, it isn’t cheap because the Son of man died for us when we were unworthy. No believer, including you and I, is ever qualified to get salvation from God. That is why the Bible says it is by grace we have been saved. Think about that!
The Christian has life, but that life is the life of Jesus operational in Him. On the other hand, the unbeliever does not have life because he doesn’t have Jesus. So, here is truth. The God-kind of life surpasses anything you can see in this world. Don’t be deceived.
