[29] “The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever.” – Psalms 37:29 (NKJV)
In Genesis, when God made the world, He created man and woman on the sixth day and told them to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the Earth and subdue it. So the inheritance of the Earth had been given to humanity. But at the time God made this declaration on Adam and Eve, there was no sin in the world. That means every human was entitled to this blessedness from God. But today, things are different. The same Earth God told all humanity to inherit; He has turned it over to the righteous. Why? If the unrighteous do it, people will suffer.
Unfortunately, many believers are not taking their place in the world. Today, more unbelievers are occupying high positions in life, nations and several workplaces. Because of such influence, believers are often oppressed and ruled over, affecting their liberty in Christ.
Child of God, there is a promise from God in Psalm 37:29 that the righteous shall inherit the land and dwell in it forever. It doesn’t say the righteous “may” inherit the land but “shall.” That means it is definitely going to happen. But there is a responsibility on your end as a believer. God is a Spirit, so whatever He sets His heart to do on this Earth will require men to bring it to physical manifestation. Take your place, and don’t settle for less.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your promises in my life. I hold on to it in full faith without wavering. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
