“that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” — Philemon 1:6 NKJV
Do you know you’re loaded with good things in Christ? If you don’t believe that, read the scripture above again.
There are good things in you, but you can live ignorant of them. And that happens when you fail to acknowledge these things, as precious as they are.
For example, love is kind (1 Corinthians 13:4). So if God, who’s love, lives in you, you’re also kind because His love dwells within you. But once you don’t understand this, you’ll live selfishly, and others will get harmed by your attitude, thinking it’s the devil that’s doing his work. Well, the devil capitalises on ignorance to destroy things. But I tell you, don’t let him have his way.
There’s a purpose for God loading you with good things in Christ; so that you can share your faith effectively with many others.
Imagine God has given you the gift of discerning spirits. If you know and use it, you’ll settle a lot of confusion in the minds of people who don’t know whether it’s God talking, humans talking, or demons speaking to them.
Your faith in Christ isn’t only for personal use. It’s also for sharing. Check within yourself and see what God has placed in there that you can’t see. So that by discernment, you’ll grow in sharing your faith for the benefit of many.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer
Father, help me to look into Your Word in order to get revelations of every good thing in me that’s lowering the extent to which I can share my faith. So that I’ll bring it to bear by the anointing. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
