Serve Others with Your Gift

[10] “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10 NIV

Apostle Arome Osayi once said, “You were born naked but not empty.” Every human being was born with at least one divine gift within them, whether they discover and use it to its full potential or not. There’s something unique about you that makes you, you. And God’s Word says in 1 Peter 4:10 that you should serve others with your gift as a faithful steward of such grace.

Maybe God has graced you with the gift of leadership, so when you talk, people listen to you. Or it could be that you can interpret dreams. Whatever your divine gifts are, you can only use them to benefit many others when you serve others with them.

There’s something unique about you that makes you, you.

Remember that you have what you have because you received it by grace (see 1 Corinthians 4:7). So, instead of bragging about your ability, submit it unto God to empower you to utilise it for the benefit of many. By doing that, you’ll walk in destiny because you’ll be doing good to many people.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, I ask for divine empowerment to bring to bear whatever gift You’ve given unto me and to use it to bless lives at the right place and right time. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
